Are You a Mixer?

A 90-second reflex check on how you actually work with AI. In Mixer mode you hold several criteria live within a single act of judgment; in hats mode you take them one at a time. Nine quick questions, no right answers, scored on your device.

What “Mixer mode” means

For decades the cost of producing correct code forced expert practitioners to serialize attention into discrete roles — one “hat” at a time. As AI agents absorb execution, that constraint dissolves. Mixer mode is the cognitive model for what comes next: multiple axes of judgment held simultaneously open at modulated levels, the way a sound engineer rides several channels of a mixing console.

It is not multitasking. Running many agents or tabs in parallel is the observable orchestration surface; without the underlying cognition it degrades into mechanical dispatching. The mode is depth of criteria within a single object of attention.
